Nick Messina
Nick Messina: A financial professional licensed for over 30 years, his experience includes affiliations with broker-dealers and a Registered Investment Advisory firm. As a fiduciary, Nick has the responsibility to always act in the best interest of his clients. His philosophy, “Safety First, A Reasonable Rate of Return over time, and Keeping it Simple,” is a strategy that has served his clients well through the volatile years of economic upheaval and world events.
“Safe Money” Nick decided to become a financial professional to offer his clients the very best products offered by various financial institutions he is appointed with, each of whom is, in Nick’s experience, among the best available leaders in their respective fields. The focus of most of his clients is to protect their hard-earned savings by purchasing products protecting from market declines and providing them with income that they cannot outlive. For his RIA clients, recognizing and weighing risk vs. reward for his client’s investment portfolios is his foremost goal.
More About Nick
Nick focuses on working with retirees and individuals nearing retirement. This focus includes a dialogue with them about protecting their assets, the impact the market can have on long-term goals, taxes, and nursing home spend-down. His goal is to preserve and ultimately enhance his client’s lifestyle and wealth. He stays up to date on the latest products and techniques to suggest personalized plans that can provide income, reduce financial risk, eliminate fees where they are not needed, lower taxes, handle probate, and protect his client’s assets.
Nick was born in Metairie and raised in Covington. He is a graduate of St. Paul’s High School and attended Nicholl’s State University while playing football. He is involved in the community and enjoys fitness activities, travel, and being with family.

Correnne is your Client Relations Director. She prepares the new policies, annual reviews and any needs of your enforce policies. Correnne also specializes in the Tax-Free Green Line. Sloane Tadlock
Director of Events and Seminars
Sloane organizes and manages our Client Events and Introduction Seminars. To schedule an appointment, attend a client event or register for a seminar please contact her.
Rene Perez
Director of Operations
Rene oversees and facilitates all new accounts being set up and funded. For questions regarding transfers on new accounts or adding money to an existing account, please contact him.
Ashley Johnston
Client Relations Specialist
Ashley works in Client Relations. It’s her job to get to know clients, so if you reach out to us, you’re sure to interact with her. She enjoys the friendly, laid-back atmosphere we have here at Messina’s Wealth Management, and loves meeting new people. Ashley is caring, thoughtful, and loyal. When not working with us, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, or her pets: she has a Tabby cat named Annabelle and a lab named Winnfield.
Becky Rodrigue
Office Assistant
Becky has a number of responsibilities here at Messina’s Wealth Management. If you set up an appointment with us, you’re likely to interact with her, both over the phone and in person at our office. She appreciates the positive work environment and the new experiences the job can offer. Becky is a kind, intelligent, and loyal person. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and her grandchildren Wyatt and Halen, cooking or going to Disney World. She has two fur babies, a German Sheppard named Charlie and a Siberian Husky named Stormy.
